Mike's Biography

Mike was born and raised in Denver, Colorado and the city’s surrounding areas. His childhood was far from ordinary growing up much around drugs and alcohol which provided an unsteady foundation. Though his close circle of friends was also mischievous, they had a strong bond that, even though Mike is in the position he is now, may have prevented him from leading a life that’s far worse.

A father of two young boys, Mike is in a position where he must make a change for the better for not only his own life, but for the lives of his sons.

Currently, he is serving his time in a maximum facility located in Cañon City. He faces:

• 3 counts of 1st Degree assualt with a deadly weapon
• 1 count of 2nd Degree assualt with a deadly weapon
• 1 count of 2nd Degree burglary
• 1 count of felony menacing with a deadly weapon
• 1 count of criminal mischief
• 1 count of 3rd Degree assualt
• 1 count of 1st Degree Criminal Trespass
• 1 count of violation of bond conditions
• 2 crime of violence sentence enhancers

With these charges stacked against him as well as a juvenile record, he is facing a maximum of 32 years in prison. A plea bargain was offered lowering the maximum time between 12-16 years. At this point, Mike’s future is still not certain.
